The Confluence Water Resources Planning Model

We invite you to download a trial version of Confluence and the model User Guide so you can familiarize yourself with the model, and gain a better sense of its capabilities and whether it might help you address your resource planning challenges. To get started, be sure to read carefully the Installing Confluence and Opening Confluence sections at the beginning of the user guide.

The trial version comes with a sample input file called Confluence Sample.mdb and the associated data files. The Confluence installation places the sample input file and the data files in the folder C:\Program Files\Confluence\Data. Once you install Confluence, you should copy the input file to its own folder, leaving a copy in its original location. Then open the Confluence model, and open the sample input file in its new location (see the User Guide). You will then be able to navigate throughout the model interface, run the simulation, and examine output charts. You will not, however, be able to save any data changes. Other than this, the trial version is fully functional.
